Well, I have not started Mr.M's Halloween costume yet =/ I went to start it only to find that we must've gotten rid of the sweatshirt I planned on ripping apart. Looks like Mr.M and I will be taking a trip to Joann's at some point this week, not today though! We are having horrible weather here. I feel bad for all the leaf peepers that we're heading up this weekend, I feel like at the end of this many will be gone. Fall comes quick here and with a storm like this the leaves go.

Before I took my blog away before I spoke about how we needed to become super savers because of the changes we are currently trying to make. I have been a couponer for a few years now and have to get better at it now, I also need to try and cut down on general costs. This week we say bye-bye to our movie package, honestly nothing is ever on anyway (except Crazy, Stupid, Love gotta <3 Ryan). My plan is to avoid grocery shopping this week, I think we can do it! We've also decided to do things like make Mr.M's costume and skip the expensive cake for his birthday.

On that note I'm going to repost the Mickey birthday invites I made for the party and hope to mail out this week!

This was an easy project, but very time cosuming (my sewing machine isn't cooperating so they are all hand stitched)

- I drew Mickey's shape on cardstock and traced it/ cut out 8 more Mickey's also on cardstock
-I  took double sided tape and stuck on the black sheet of felt. I cut around the outline and hand stitched all the edges.
-Repeated with red felt only with the bottom half. I stitched around hte bottom edge, but left the middle open to slip the paper info part of the invite in.
-Then I sewed the buttons onto the red felt only!

We now have 9 Mickey's ready to hit the mail! I will warn that I free handed Mickey so I wasn't really paying attention to his size, I had to order special envelopes from Amazon to fit them in.
They ended up costing right around $14 for all supplies including the envelopes.

Happy Tuesday!
